Rocky Top Campground & RV Park Terms & Conditions:
Speed LimitThe speed limit is 5 MPH at all times and in all areas. Check-In & Check-OutCheck-In begins at 2:00 PMSelf-check-in is available—please refer to your confirmation email for instructions. Check-Out: 11:00 AM. If you need to extend your stay, notify the office as soon as possible. Re-registration is not guaranteed. Quiet Hours10:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Strictly enforced). Please be considerate of your camping neighbors. Office, Store & Propane SalesMonday – Saturday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PMSunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PMFor after-hours inquiries, please leave a voicemail or text. Propane Refills: Tanks must be set out by 1:00 PM and the office must be notified for same-day service. Rates & Guest Policy Rates are based on 2 adults per site. Additional charges apply for extra overnight guests.Maximum of 4 adults per unit for overnight stays. Guests: You are responsible for your invitees, and they must follow all campground rules. We do not guarantee site numbers and reserve the right to switch your sites prior to check in if necessary. Parking1 RV (camper) per site.Maximum 2 cars.No sheds, extra trailers, or boats are permitted on sites.Tents are not permitted on RV sites.Do not park on or drive through grass. Vehicle WashingWashing of campers and cars is allowed with a $10 fee. Please pay at the office before washing. Pet PolicyPets (cats/dogs/animals) must be on a leash at all times (maximum 6-foot leash).Pets are not permitted in any buildings, including rental cabins and rental campers.Pets cannot be tied or left outside unattended.No pet fences, crates, enclosures, or playpens are allowed on sites.A dog run is provided—do not leave pets unattended in the dog run.Owners must clean up after their pets at all times. Trash & Site MaintenanceDispose of all everyday trash in designated dumpsters (refer to site map).Do NOT dispose of: lawn chairs, televisions, rugs, grills, microwaves, leaves, branches, etc.Keep your site clean—no trash in fire rings or BBQ grills.All items on site must be stored neatly at all times.Failure to leave your site clean may result in additional fees. Campfires & FirewoodFires are only permitted in designated fire rings.Do not move fire rings or leave fires unattended.No cans, glass, foil, or garbage in fire rings.Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving or retiring for the night.Do not remove firewood from the woods. Firewood is available for purchase at the store.Behavior & ConductWe are a quiet and relaxing campground.No intoxication, profanity, vandalism, or disorderly behavior.Management reserves the right refuse service or terminate stay for violations of campground rules. BicyclesBicycles must stay on roadways and adhere to the 5 MPH speed limit. Laundry FacilitiesCoin-operated machines are located at the bathhouse (open 24 hours).Quarters are available at the office during store hours. Smoking PolicyNo smoking in: restrooms, showers, game room, office, laundry area, cabins, rental RVs, or apartments.Violation in cabins, rental RVs, or apartments will result in a $250 penalty.Dispose of cigarette butts properly. Sewer RequirementsTN law requires the use of a sewer ring or similar device to prevent sewer gases from escaping.Monthly Winter RequirementFrom November 1st through March 1st, all monthly RVs must have a heated water hose. Injuries, Damages & TheftRocky Top Campground and its management are not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss (including but not limited to accidents, acts of nature, fire, or theft).Guests are responsible for their own safety, as well as the safety of their children, pets, and personal property while on the premises.Any damage to campground property, facilities, or equipment caused by a guest or their visitors may result in repair or replacement charges. Mail & Package PolicyMail and packages are accepted as a courtesy only. Rocky Top Campground is not responsible for lost, stolen, delayed, or damaged mail or packages.Guests are encouraged to coordinate directly with the carrier for any delivery concerns.Use of the campground address does not establish residency, and we do not guarantee secure or timely handling of deliveries. Prohibited Items & Activities🚫 Firearms or weapons of any kind🚫 Fireworks🚫 Major vehicle repairs🚫 Household furniture, refrigerators, or freezers outside RVs🚫 Messy or cluttered campsites WiFi & Bathhouse AccessWiFi is provided, but for more than 2 devices per campsite, we recommend renting a modem for better speeds.Modems are available for rent—please inquire at the office. Bathhouse facilities are for guests only. Residency PolicyRocky Top Campground may not be used as a permanent address for government documents, including but not limited to driver’s licenses, registrations, or official identification. Reservations & PaymentsAll reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card.Full payment is required at the time of reservation. Monthly rentals: Automatically charged on the same day every month from the arrival date.Electricity for monthly rentals will be automatically billed each month to the card on file.If paying by cash, monthly payments are due one day in advance.To opt out of auto-pay, please notify the office at least one week prior to due date.A credit card processing fee applies to all card payments.One-week advance notice required before departure for month-to-month rentals. All payments are due by departure date including final meter reading and electric payment. Cancellations & Refunds3 weeks (21 days) or more before arrival: Refund less a $35 cancellation fee.Less than 3 weeks (21 days) before arrival. No refund. No refunds will be issued for no-shows, early departures, weather, illness, mechanical issues, travel delays, or changes in plans. Camp credit is not guaranteed and may be offered at management's sole discretion as a one-time courtesy.For monthly rentals, please provide at least 7 days' notice before departure. Late Payment PolicyLate payments are not acceptedMonthly guests who fail to pay by the due date will revert to the current daily rate, subject toavailability. This applies to RV sites, rental RVs, cabins, and apartments. Guests paying the daily rate must follow the daily payment schedule and the standard 11:00 AM checkout time. If you anticipate a payment issue, you must contact the office before your payment due date. Guests who fail to pay or communicate before the due date must vacate the property. CANCELLATION POLICY
We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature, no shows, or early departures. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.
