Bays Mountain Park & Planetarium www.baysmountain.com Bays Mountain is a nature preserve
owned and operated by the city of Kingsport, Tennessee. The facilities include the 3000 acre outdoor classroom, a 44 acre
lake, and a nature center/museum, inside of which is a planetarium with a 40 foot diameter dome. The park programs are an
integral part of the curriculum of local school children, and in recent years the park has assumed regional importance, with
students from 33 counties in 5 states currently attending.
Netherland Inn The Nation's only registered historical
site which was both a stage stop and a boatyard. The restored Netherland Inn and section of the Old Boatyard depict an intimate
study of a way of life that is intriguing part of America's heritage. A visit to this historic landmark is a real and meaningful

centerpiece of Biltmore Estate. George Vanderbilt—the youngest son of an American family famous for its wealth—opened
